  • +Abyssinian Seed Oil is a natural seed oil that comes from a mustard plant, native to the Mediterranean region. There is something truly unique about this oil: it has a molecular structure that is not found in any other naturally occurring substance. It is very resistant to oxidation, unlike many plant oils, as it contains a high percentage of C22 fatty acids. Abyssinian oil contains an abundance of both linoleic and linolenic acids. Linoleic acid, an Omega 6 fatty acid, is helpful when it comes to skin and hair regeneration, while linolenic acid, an Omega 3, is anti-inflammatory, cell-communicating, and skin conditioning.

    +Probiotics

    One of the natural preservatives used in Whipped Cream is a combination of antimicrobial peptide technology from fermented plants (one originally derived from the lactic acid bacteria, Leuconostoc kimchii  and the other from coconut with lactobacillus). These probiotics deliver moisturising and conditioning benefits as well as providing protection against bacteria, yeast, and mould.

    In a study performed on a cream base, our probiotic preservative improves the cream moisture levels by 42.01% after 24 hours and by 62.33% after four weeks when compared to the untreated cream control. It also improves moisturization by 14.38% and after 24 hours and by 24.13% after four weeks.

This oil possesses strong anti-inflammatory properties, promotes regeneration, reduces sun damage to the skin and minimizes wrinkles and fine lines adding that extra skin glow. In addition, there has been some research that links buriti oil with sun protection. Because buriti oil contains powerful antioxidants, the oil helps to protect our skin from the harmful UV rays and photo-damage.
